My dad passed away April 28, 2005 from a disease called PSP (Progressive Supranuclear Palsy). He is sorely missed...but what does "peanut butter and bologna" have to do with this? Dad was quite a character! Among other things, I remember him dunking his peanut butter bologna sandwich in his coffee and delighting in what he thought was a tasty treat! So in honor of Father's Day, I am posting what my son wrote and read at Dad's memorial service (which includes memories of that sandwich)...
I have put together a list of things I have learned from my grandpa over the course of 24 years. These lessons come from all the different things I have seen or heard while being around him. I think that many of you have learned a lesson or two from him also. Hopefully this will help you remind yourself of them.
